Hi There,

I’m Katie Mefford, one third of the Mefford Family. I am a Christ follower, wife and mother to an angel.

My husband Andrew & I have been married since January 2017 and together since Fall 2014. He brings the spontaneity, excitement and fun to our marriage (typical enneagram 7) and reminds me daily not to take life quite so seriously. Our marriage is not perfect but I truly can’t imagine my life without him by my side.

We are parents to Ollie James, our sweet stillborn son. He was born an angel on September 6, 2019. Our Ollie taught us more in the 5 months of life in my belly than most people teach someone in an entire lifetime.

I started this blog shortly after our loss with Ollie in an effort document a bit of our journey — life, grief, marriage & the hope we still have in Christ. Stick around and chime in.
